Looking forward to another beautiful day on the Vefsna

Fishing cards are out for grabs from today – the lodges at Ner-Laksfors are still to be booked. The salmon-eggs will soon be hatching, and the fry entering the roaring river from the lakes and broader passages hoping to find more food. But the most important is, that the first natural born generation of salmon from the Vefsna this century is returning as grilse this summer, taking on the long way home from the Barens sea and the sea around Greenland. Which would stir some excitement amongst some of us.
